Pelage Studios Staff
Passionate Leaders
Pelage Studios is an inclusive Pilates-based fitness collaborative that goes beyond the method of Contrology. We embody physical, mental and spiritual fitness through Physical Physics, the science of logical movement. We teach people how to move mindfully and how to feel good in their bodies. We help you learn how to move safely and prevent injuries; but if you do come with an injury or other mobility issue we teach you how to modify exercises and what props to use to get stronger again.
Clients have the ability to do classes in person or in the comfort of their home, on their own time. Workouts can be synchronous (zoom classes or private sessions) or asynchronous (video rentals, recorded classes, etc).
We are our community and are always collaborating. We are a group of creative, intelligent, intuitive, innovative, personable, entertaining, empathetic, relatable, resilient, resourceful individuals from different backgrounds, ages, and areas of expertise that enhances your experience.
Connect with people all over the world and join our collaborative space. Let us help you feel at home in and empowered by your body.

Suzanne Pride
Pilates Master Instructor
Suzanne is a fitness expert who has been involved in fitness from a young age due to her father being a coach. After studying fitness at university, she became a pioneer in aerobics, creating her own classes and gaining a gold medal certification from IDEA in 1983.
Suzanne later became the first female General Manager and number one International Sales Leader of Bally's/Vic Tanny's fitness club. However, her career was interrupted by a motorcycle accident that left her with short-term memory loss and a severely damaged skeletal structure. Suzanne spent 18 months recovering and eventually underwent an unnecessary laminectomy that worsened her condition. She continued to search for a solution to her pain and a way to improve her quality of life, which she found through Pilates.
Suzanne studied with many first generation Pilates elders and uses the Pilates method as a springboard for understanding Physical Physics, the science of logical movement. Suzanne’s knowledge and skill of logical movement has helped many people work through their own pain to gain back what they thought could not be fixed. She continues to inspire others to stay active and healthy, and has become an advocate for accessible fitness for people of all ages and abilities.

Tracy Gonzalez
Senior Pilates Instructor
Tracy (B.A. Elmhurst Chicago, M.A. University of Chicago) instantly connected with Pilates when introduced to it in 2005. She became fully certified in 2007 (Pilates Institute of America) and continued training (workshops with Fletcher, Stott, Pilates Anytime, and Burn at the Barre) and teaching when she relocated in 2011 from Chicago to Austin, TX with husband, Rene.
Because of her consistent Pilates practice through her pregnancies and after three c-sections and a hernia repair, Tracy recovered, regained strength and flexibility and reconnected with her body again. She truly believes in the lifelong benefits of the work, that movement heals, and the detailed, isolated work we do daily sets us up for a healthy future where we feel aligned, balanced, capable and strong.
Tracy loves working with people to help them attain a better quality of life and feel at home in and empowered by their body, whether in person, or through the convenience of zoom sessions. Tracy lives in the Rio Grande Valley on a ranch with her husband, three boys, and many animals.
